Military Working Dog Unit Type Code (UTC)

The Security Forces QFL4D Military Working Dog (MWD) UTC provides Kennel Masters and MWD Handlers with the essential equipment to sustain three military working dogs in operational environments. Central to this UTC is an environmentally controlled, air-certified container, designed to ensure the health and safety of the dogs during deployment. The container meets stringent standards for temperature regulation and ventilation, making it suitable for extended field operations.

The QFL4D includes all necessary sustainment items and training equipment to support routine care and mission readiness of the dogs. The UTC ensures that MWD teams are fully equipped to perform critical tasks in support of Base Defense operations.
